As the host of this web site I have opened an account on swoopo and won 7 auctions to date. The first auction I won was in december last year (2008) I won a wii fit balance board for just £17.40. Not only was this 1/3 of the retail price but I also had is delivered in time for christmas. If you remember last year the wii fit balance board was out of stock everywhere in the run up to christmas. People were paying over £100 just to get hold of one for christmas and I got mine for just £17.40.

The other items I have won are 3 nintendo ds's and a panasonic cordless phone.£50 cash and 50 free bids.all well below the retail price. The most I paid for a DS was £35.00 and I got the phone for an unbelievable £6.10.

A little tip to get you started

The second auction I won I thought about winning free bids then using the extra bids to go for better products. I did this and won 50 free bids using only 5 bids to win the auction. The final price of the auction was 2.00 so i was well in profit. A little tip for you is to look at this auction first as it often has a low amount of people bidding.

A second tip also don't rush into an auction wait and study the people bidding on it and have your bids ready to use when you see the timer go to zero 2 -3 times in a row. This is usually an indication that their isn't many people bidding and the item is about to go.
